The Big News

This adventure starts on May 8, 2006. Mark and I have been wanting to start a family for a while, but things had not worked out. May 8th was a Monday, Mark and I went to work like any other day. While I was at work the Lab had some students needing to practice drawing blood from people so I volunteered. And since I had my blood drawn, I also got to have a test done. As usual I chose to have a pregnancy test run. About thirty minutes later the lab came looking for me and told me the test was POSITIVE! I could not believe it - I was so excited and happy and nervous that I started shaking and crying! I called Mark at work and he told me to calm down until we could get it verified by my ob-gyn. One of my best days ever!
